Litens Anton Nilsson is a classically trained pianist who opted out of concert hall life to write and produce contemporary music. He spent three years studying classical piano at the highly prestigious Royal Academy of Music in Copenhagen. After graduating in 2014, he went on to study at Musikmakarna, the Swedish songwriting academy, where he focused on writing contemporary music. There, he learned to combine his natural ear for melody with exceptional instrumental skills.
Today, he is recognized for his clever, well-written lyrics, along with his forward-thinking melodies and arrangements. In 2017, he was one of the writers on Icona Pop’s single “Girls, Girls,” co-written with KIDDO and Tove Lo, among others. He’s also been heavily involved in SHY Martin’s artist project— he co-wrote her singles “Bad In Common,” “Forget to Forget,” and “Lose You Too,” and joined her on tour in 2018. Most recently, Litens co-wrote John Newman’s 2019 single “Feelings,” and worked with ELINA on her upcoming EP. In 2018, he was awarded the Denniz Pop Awards Rookie Songwriter/Producer of the year award in recognition of his innovative sound and well-crafted songs.
