In June 2018 the third ‘Denniz Pop Awards Backstage Speed date’ took place at Spotify HQ in Stockholm.
60 selected young talented songwriters, producers and artists got the chance to meet 20 music executives during a daytime session. The purpose of the event is to create opportunities, help and strengthen as many new musical talents as possible in order for Sweden’s international pop music heritage to go on.
The day started with an interesting Q&A with Salem Al Fakir and Vincent Pontare, also known as Vargas & Lagola, before the speed dating began.
During the short sessions representatives from Sony Music Sweden, Refune Music Group, Universal Music, TEN Music Group, Kobalt Music Recordings/AWAL, Warner Music Sweden, Sony/ATV Music Publishing Scandinavia, Cow Pow, Warner Chappell, Spinnup, RMV Publishing, Northbound music Group, 300 Entertainment, THE KENNEL and BMG listened and offered their expertise feedback.
