Oscar Stembridge – Rookie Artist/Band
Oscar Stembridge is only 14 years, and he is already uniquely brilliant as an artist and songwriter. The jury believes the sky is the limit for his future in the music industry.
Oscar has already built a dedicated global following online and performed at many prestigious Swedish events incl. Climate Live21, Victoriadagan concert and on Allsång på Skansen. An accomplished singer-songwriter, Oscar’s compelling persona is matched by his ability to pen authentic songs that tackle todays youth issues such as climate change, bullying and social alienation.
Koda – Rookie Songwriter/Producer
Koda's real name is Kristoffer Eriksson and is a Swedish songwriter living in London who has impressed the jury with his wonderful talent and drive. He has penned hits and written music for artists such as Rita Ora, Coi Leray, Cheat Codes, Imanbek, AJ Mitchell, and Apache 207. A recent release was the Billboard Hot 100 charting song ‘YOU’ by Troye Sivan, Tate McRae, and DJ Regard. Koda has also co-written one of Sweden’s top streaming pop songs, “Bra För Dig” with the group Estraden ft. Victor Leksell.
Jessica Doolan – International Rookie
Jessica Doolan is an 18 years old artist and songwriter from Ireland who has impressed the judges with her incredible talent and voice. She has been working with the likes of Jake Gosling, Mojam, Ollie Green and many more. Hailed by many as one to watch.
Snoh Aalegra – The Grand Prize
The honorary award for the year's international success 2022 went to the RnB artist Snoh Aalegra. The jury's motivation is:
"For uniquely achieving international success in a genre that no other Swede has previously succeeded in. She has a fantastic voice, incredible stage presence and a world-class songwriter”.
Anders Johansson – The MVP
The honorable mention as this year's MVP went to the manager Anders Johansson, who works with Veronica Maggio and Smith and Thell and others. The jury's motivation is:
"For having been one of the leading figures in Swedish music life for many years, but behind the scenes. With enormous knowledge and incredible drive, he has produced both artists and songwriters who have made and are making success both in Sweden and internationally. Completely in the spirit of Denniz Pop”.
