International Rookie 

Songwriter / Producer / Artist / Band

An award for the most aspiring international songwriter, producer, artist or band of the year.

This award highlights undiscovered musical talent from all around the world, whether it’s a songwriter, a producer, an artist or a band, and puts them in direct contact with the elite of the industry. Once the three finalists have been chosen, the public is invited to cast their votes and help the jury make the final decision. The finalists are invited to the awards ceremony where the winner will be announced.

The winner will receive a Denniz Pop Awards sculpture and a 10,000 USD cash prize.

 

Rookie Songwriter / Producer 

An award for the most aspiring songwriter or producer of the year. This award is the industry stamp of approval, giving talented new songwriters and producers the boost of recognition they need to open industry doors and accelerate forwards in their careers. Once the finalists have been chosen, the public is invited to cast their votes and help the jury make the final decision.

The three finalists are invited to the awards ceremony where the winner will be announced. The winner receives a Denniz Pop Awards sculpture and a 10,000 USD cash prize.

 

Rookie Artist / Band

An award for the most aspiring Artist or Band of the year. This award puts the spotlight on undiscovered musical talent, propelling them straight into the industry center as the world’s next international star. Once the finalists have been chosen, the public is invited to cast their votes and help the jury make the final decision.

The three finalists are invited to the awards ceremony where the winner will be announced. The winner receives a Denniz Pop Awards sculpture and a 10,000 USD cash prize.

 

Honorary Awards

The Grand Prize

The year’s biggest international success. This award category is open to artists, songwriters, producers and anyone who has done something remarkable for themselves and Swedish music around the world. Previous winners include Ludwig Göransson, The Swedish House Mafia and AVICII. The jury-selected winner is invited to attend the awards ceremony where they will receive their Denniz Pop Awards sculpture.

The MVP

The Most Valuable Person award is for the unsung heroes of the music industry who rarely get the recognition they deserve. This is your chance to nominate your deserving colleagues and friends. Previous years’ winners include Nana Hedin, Marie Dimberg and Ash Pournouri. The jury-selected winner is invited to attend the awards ceremony where they will receive their Denniz Pop Awards sculpture.
