The winners of Denniz Pop Awards 2018

Ellen Krauss – Rookie Artist/Band

Ellen Krauss, 18, has been awarded the prize for her unique voice and fantastic songwriting talent. After having performed her own music at a school concert, the self-taught musician understood from the cheering audience that artistry could be something for her. Ellen draws inspiration from a wide variety of artists, including Elvis, AC/DC and Bruce Springsteen.

 

Litens – Rookie Songwriter/Producer

Litens Anton Nilsson, 25, is a classically trained pianist who opted out of concert hall life to write and produce contemporary music. He has been awarded the prize for both his innovative sound and awesome songs. Litens has collaborated with and written for artists such as SHY Martin, Icona Pop and Tove Lo.

 

Ludwig Göransson – The Grand Prize

Ludwig Göransson has been awarded The Grand Prize for his fantastic efforts during the year and his enormous musical range. He’s the composer behind Childish Gambio’s worldwide hit and billboard number-one, “This is America.” He’s been nominated in several American Grammy categories, and won with the song “Redbone.” Ludvig has even created the soundtrack for the hugely successful film Black Panther.

 

Nana Hedin – The MVP

The singer Nana Hedin has been awarded the Most Valuable Person prize for her behind-the-scenes contribution, helping to form the classic Cherion sound. In doing so, she has also contributed to the “Swedish Music Wonder.” Over the course of her career, Nana has backed up artists like Britney Spears and Celine Dion. She’s also the singular voice in many of E-Type’s greatest hits.
